Lloyd Gosselink Rochelle & Townsend seeks a skilled and highly qualified mid-level associate to join its Water and Districts Practice Groups. The ideal candidate will have at least two years exposure to environmental, districts, and/or administrative law.
Successful candidates must possess excellent organizational, analytical, writing, and interpersonal communication skills. Seeking an ambitious associate with a strong work ethic, leadership skills and commitment to growing their practice, network, and expertise. Candidate must have the experience to function independently while coordinating and communicating effectively with the partner in charge of the client.
Juris Doctorate degree from a nationally recognized law school required with a high level of academic achievement. Should be admitted to either the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas or the State Bar of Texas. Current or prior employment with an environmental law firm or state agency is a plus. Prior appearance before the state office of administrative hearings is also a plus.
