About Us

Carrington, Coleman, Sloman & Blumenthal, L.L.P. traces its roots in Texas back to the early part of this century. The present partnership was formed in 1970 with 12 attorneys and has grown steadily since then to our present size of almost 70 lawyers. Since our founding we have developed our reputation and a focused practice emphasis in:

  • Litigation, a nationally known practice representing domestic and foreign businesses and individuals (including lawyers and other professionals) in the most complex and serious litigation matters;
  • Transactional work, a practice that serves regional businesses and financial institutions by providing solutions to complex business, corporate, and real estate problems, with a focus on capital formation, commercial development, corporate governance and the sale and acquisition of assets and businesses; and
  • Insolvency matters, an expanding regional and national practice in sophisticated Chapter 11 restructurings and out-of-court resolutions representing lenders, debtors, indenture trustees, and creditor and equity holder committees.

Our offices are located in downtown Dallas, Texas, and have convenient access to Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport with direct flights to every major city in North America, as well as direct flights to major cities in Europe, Asia, Mexico, Central and South America.
